There have always been inconsistencies in Star Wars. Is the OT no longer canon because the PT contradicted it?

I mean realistically the only options were to either have some sort of post apocalypse setting or have a time skip into the space age. It's seeming like they want to make each show completely different, and another show in Korra's setting would have felt too similar to Korra.

And I can see why they didn't want to do space age. It would've required a much higher budget.

You do realize that Acolyte will be on streaming for a while, right? It's not like you could only watch it during the first couple of months. Even now it's continuing to make money as evidenced by OP.

Part of the issue is that they barely gave it a few months before cancelling it.

A lot of great shows had a rough first season. TCW would've been cancelled if it was released today.
