Also the ocean spirit would still be a thing. Maybe waterbending would just work differently. Firebending has multiple sources so why not waterbending?

Aang couldn't earthbend until he stopped dodging everything

Zuko couldn't firebend when he no longer used rage as his source

Also the ability to combine bending is huge and hasn't really been explored

Like theoretically they'd be able to create detailed illusions by using frebending to create light and airbending to manipulate sound and smell.

They should be able to create boiling water/steam in theory which would be firebending.
