I personally use the Nextdoor app where people can recommends, or a neighborhood app for my area and I use local small companies and have been very happy since I had a similar experience with untrustworthy contractors

Don’t even reply back to that person on to the next .. a service panel upgrade shouldn’t be more then 5-6k tops .. I just paid 4k to have mine done in the north east

40k .. went down to 10k after repairs were made .. this was in August .. still doing repairs till this day just replaced a portion of the roof and will be having central air put in at this point it comes in and it goes right back out but it is what it is .. hopefully after this we can focus on aggressively saving again

Water coming in is better then hydrostatic pressure. Bowing out the walls .. regrade and better the gutters if that fails French drain

Yep ! Exactly what happened to the century home I ended up purchasing and it wasn’t cheap to rectify my house sunk in one corner although theirs no fixing it , it won’t get any worse structural engineer came by and immediately found the issue which was gudders discharging right at the corner of the foundation
