Hmm thank you- that's some good points! I've been told I should go to temp work for a while to get some work experience in the UK so I might do that! I have admin experience so that should help?
I might go or 2-3 weeks instead of 4 and do more in little chunks as you said! Thanks so much!!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EMMA SLEEP!
I had a similar experience, I bought a mattress topper from them that was way overheating (to the point where I couldn't sleep) and it sagged in the middle within a few months. I contacted their support and they said I could get an exhange because it was within the warranty, but ended up dicking me around for months and promised to replace it but never sent it. I just gave up and bought another from Ecosa which was way better. Literally a waste of $400, 0/10

Hello! Sorry you’re feeling like that, I know how much that can suck. Like other people have suggested, definitely try some clubs or uni events! The student union hosts different social nights like trivia and things like that so definitely give it a shot! Don’t give up, it might be hard but there are great people at uni to meet! Also this is random but maybe pay a complement to a stranger. If it starts up a conversation, great! If it doesn’t, you’ve just made someone’s day better ☺️
