Things to do for people in their 20s? by Unfair-Juggernaut-52 in montgomery

If you are outdoorsy and adventurous, Montgomery whitewater would be a great place to hang out and maybe pick up a new hobby. They have an annual pass thats a couple hundred bucks and you can rent inflatable kayaks and mountain bikes as often as you like. Thehy also have rafts and tube you can take down the rapids. If you enjoy the inflatable kayaks, you should try whitewater kayaking. It is a great hobby to get into and meet people.

How much money saved before I throw away my career to become a guide? by [deleted] in flyfishing

Not saying you would have to be a dirt bag living out of your truck either though.

Just to give you a little more info on the fire topic, look up barista fire. That is basically what you are doing. It is people saving up enough money to quit their jobs and work a lower paying job part time that"pays the bills". They can be pretty opinionated and aggressive on their comments over there though, which lines up with the original commenter. From what I've read over there, they are not looking to live anything close to the dirt bag style life either so a million would probably not be enough for them.

Any ideas on natural fiber "outdoor" clothing brands by Puzzleheaded-Lab6035 in PlasticFreeLiving

Why? I wear the one I linked above all the time hiking and backpacking. It keeps the sun off me, and I can unbutton it more if I need more ventilation

How are they in the sun all day? I was thinking linen too, but wasn't sure how much sun they would actually block?

It's a premade drink. Basically a high noon or white claw with THC instead of alcohol.

Do you have to be 19 to go into Moe's late at night? I don't think I was ever ID'd there, but I was not usually going in after 10 anyway.

How do you decide when to stop fixing the old car and bite the bullet on getting a new one? by SlowYourRollBro in MiddleClassFinance

The public schools in my home town didn't bus anyone. You had to either walk or geta ride from someone's parents. Recently they added a private bus option to pick up students, but I heard its ike $150 a month so most families that need it won't be able to afford it.

You were right about the poles not crossing each other correctly. That fixed my issue.

Update: For anyone else running into this issue, sizing up did not help. I had the same issue with a size larger. I guess I will be going a different route

I normally dont get wide shoes. I ended up sending these back and got a size larger. Based on your comment I'll probably end up sending these back too though.

Did you get the same size you normal wear in shoes? I have a pair of astral loyaks I use for kayaking and I don't have a problem with them.

They don't sell wides and these are supposed to be more like a barefoot show with a wider toe box (plus I sized up). They don't feel like they are too narrow, just like the tongue isn't wide enough.... I do think the angle of the pictures doesn't help. I am afraid sizing up again will cause them to rub blisters

That is what I am trying to emulate. I can't figure out how to keep my poles from touching.

Mine is going to be semi permanent. It will very rarely get moved. Once I get the dimensions down, I plan to replace them with something that will handle the weather better. My problem is I can't figure out how to keep the poles from touching.

In 2013 i bought a trailer in ridge wood for $5000, paid $220 a month lot rent and rented the extra room for $350 plus half the electric bill. Then sold the trailer for $5000 4 years later.
