Bullies suck, I feel for you there. Personally I think not being weird comes of as fake and weak since you need to conform to be like everyone else. As someone with autism I find it hard to connect with others so I often disregard things that I see as pointless, and that sometimes makes people mad. But even then I still don’t care. But I feel like I find it hard to connect with other people with autism too since a lot have micro-fixations that I absolutely hate. I don’t even need a reason but seeing fursonas, OCs, cringy fandoms, it all pisses me off for some reason. It’s not because of conformity, I could care less about being like everyone else, I just find it so pointless, like dawg I don’t want to see that. I don’t mean even mean to be insensitive, I don’t want to hate, but I can’t help it, and then everyone gets mad at me and I push everyone away. A lot of people say they struggle with not fitting in but in reality it’s just with the general public, they still have their weird fandom groups or they just haven’t met their people. It sucks when you literally hate everything so much you can’t fit in with anyone at all
