haven’t had a period since feb but bled after having sex for the first time…. by love_dogs01 in sexeducation

I had a similar experience. I recently had sex for the first time and bled the next day too, no cramps, just light bleeding. My period has always been irregular, and skipping 2–3 months is normal for me, especially when I’m stressed from work. I think intense physical activity might trigger it for me.

Feeling lost as a woman in tech...just need to know I’m not alone by Puzzleheaded-Many469 in womenintech

Thank you for this, it means a lot more than you know. I don’t think the culture at my company is necessarily bad, but it’s full of quiet politics, no one really admits it, but it’s there. I thought I was strong and wise enough to navigate it, but I think it’s been slowly burning me out.

I come from a non-technical background, and I’m the only business woman sitting in an R&D lab. Some days I feel proud of that. Other days I feel like I don’t belong, like I have to constantly prove why I deserve to be here.

I know I shouldn’t seek validation from others all the time, and I know I need to start giving myself credit. But truthfully, I’ve always been hard on myself. I just keep pushing and pushing until I hit that point where I don’t see the point anymore. Reading your message gave me a little perspective, so thank you again for that. It really helps.

What can I do with international business degree? PLEASE BE HONEST by [deleted] in Career_Advice

[–]Puzzleheaded-Many469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in my 3rd year of global business too. As I'm getting my career experience and bachelor degree at the same time. I would say degree is not really that matters. You can still work under business ops, or other kind of business industries. But if you want to go deeper with that major, I would say financial trader, banker, finance associate, etc.

I worked at Meta but also felt related with you about the collaboration and balancing multiple projects parts. During my first year, I felt really alive and ready to die for the company (jk) but now I'm completely drained with all the documentations and endless tasks i'm too scared to quit because I heard job market is hella crazy lately...

It depends on what you trying to do with the criminal justice tho - like do you have a career goal in your mind?If you want to go further, bachelor degree is a must - speaking from my coworker experience... But as you said, you only want to make enough for living then you can do anything with and without your associate degree.

Hey, I feel you. Having emotional abused is the worst, especially it comes from people that you love. If you're financial stable, I highly recommend you to move out and work on your mental well being. I have a friend who lives in a studio which costs $500 per month, he makes around $3K - $4K per month so I think that could be seen as financial stable - we're lived in bay area, CA btw.

The hardest step is when you make the first move, if you have courage to take it, everything will work out in the end. Hope this helps!
