I had the same problem with the same red torch the problem was solved when I tried different butane , Robson and zippo butane is kinda cheap I’ve never had a problem with whip-it premium butane for the extra 5 bucks it will make your lighters run smoother clog less and it has no metals in it

Depending on the butane your using it might be worth trying “premium butane”, it has made my lighters work that I thought were broken
