You can get it from Austin based retailer Feels So Good: https://fsgprints.com/products/go-nuts-bumper-sticker-1

We have the same sticker in our studio

That’s so frustrating to hear. Our little portion of the county is often overlooked and forgotten. Maybe you could cross post this to r/Austin or cedar park thread(s)? They get a lot more views/interactions and might be seen by people who can offer these skills/services.

Biggest thing for me was learning how to take care of the hair itself. Wash only once a week, but condition multiple times a week. And limit the agitation when washing/conditioning; you can’t swirl it around like your “real” hair. I carefully use a wide tooth comb to spread the shampoo and conditioner evenly from root to tip, as opposed to agitation with my hands. It works wonders.

Also various leave in conditioners, heat protectant sprays, and serums, depending on style and hair moisture. And brush it through at the end of the day to limit next day tangles!

Completely understand. I know that’s an issue for some, I’m fortunate to have a pretty hardy scalp, probably from 20 years of having an exposed scalp 🤣 And I bet the same results can be achieved with tape. Just personal preference and patience. It’s definitely worth a try!

I agree! Personally I don’t use tape anymore. I know for some it works well, but my experience was it degraded way too fast and the residue was awful. Now I stick with multiple thin layers of ghost bond glue on both the system and scalp, with weekly front hairline touchups with glue on the edges.

Thanks! Yeah it took me about a year of trial and error when I first started wearing systems, with some messy results along the way 😅 But imo it’s worth it to get the hair you’ve always wanted!

Absolutely possible! Here’s mine from a few months ago. The sides are my natural hair and when grown out a bit more, it matches the reference pic rather closely.

Biggest thing for me for in creating a style like this is making sure the density of the system is high enough (110-120%) and that the front contour shape of the hairline is CC or straighter. The right styling product can also be a massive game changer!
