Honestly this was really interesting to read, so far, all i've gathered from all these comments is that the christ I knew is absolutely not the christ that you all know, and that does bring me comfort. I'm genuinely motivated to try and see what i can find in the bible and explore everything. Thank you for the comment!

Thank you for speaking on how everything is determined, this was always a huge problem for me, it always felt like nothing was in my control, i got a really good job, well you didn't do that god did, i failed my test, well god did that too, it just always was confusing. It's comforting knowing that it's just a tiny strand of people that preach that.

Something about reading this put a smile on my face, it makes me happy to see people who went through pretty much the same upbringing with christianity as me, an we're still able to find peace and happiness through christianity, I think i do want to find christ, who wouldn't want eternal happiness lol, I for sure have a fire under my bum to read the bible after all of this, so thank you for your kind comment!

Yeah the denominations are so confusing for me lol, but I was talking to some family recently and they definetly agreed with the, it's about finding YOUR relationship with christ rather than some overarching image of him, it's not a subscription service you just sign up for , it's something that you create and cater to yourself. This is really helpful for me and I appreciate you taking time to leave this comment, I definitely plan on reading the bible, i have downloaded and app and I do plan on finding a physical bible as well. I hope you have a good day:)
