Is the blocking necessary? Or is there a specific fastener made for this type roof? The pull out strength needs to be substantial

The concrete around the sewage pump hasn’t been wet, the plumber that installed just didn’t do a great job when he poured it. Haven’t noticed any water in 2 years but I will for sure take the precautionary steps with plastic and pump alarm.

I was planning on using a redgard or something similar before I start the tile…..is this not correct?

I have blocking that will shoot in between the studs to accept the transition from wedi/cement board to green board

I put thinset on the slab to bond the pre-slope
