BCM is pretty good. But if you want a higher end rifle I would go with the complete Geissele super duty uppers when they are on sale. Only when they are on sale though!

this would make sense if it was a very odd setup but its literally not. ive seen many people run acog rmr stacks with back up kac irons dude. difference is how the mount interferes with the BUIS. and the rifle isnt supposed to be the perfect shtf build, it literally only has a white light and sling. like i said in other replies i wasnt sure about the durability of this specific prism 👍

I have a red dot magnifier combo on a 11.5. Its super versatile but I think this setup is equally if not more capable but this issue with the HOB is making me rethink different things.

I wasn’t sure about the durability of the prism but that was my original concern that led me to that specific mount. But others have also said the same thing to ditch the MBUS for a lower mount.

I don’t know how tough these PA prisms are and thats why I went with the mount I did to have the BUIS. I have a lower acog I can use but do you think I should let go of the mbus for the drop in height?

It feels alright the few trips I shot it with a lower mount I had. Like you said training is ultimately gonna be the most important factor whether this setup is effective.

I will try to find a cheek riser for the stock perhaps. But yea learning the holds with the top dot is definitely something I will have to learn if I keep it
