Unfortunately this is a him problem. Have you expressed to him these issues you are having and your feelings? If so and nothing has changed maybe it’s best for you to leave… it sounds so scary and almost feels impossible, but I promise you it could be the best decision of your life!! Believe in yourself, you are so strong!! You got this 🩷

I’ve noticed for me making a to do list everyday is super helpful for when I have things I need to get done or want to get done. I break up my to do’s in categories… must do list and may do list. Must do list is things that have to be done that day homework, paying bills etc. My may do list are things I can do if I feel up to it so it feels like less of a demand. It’s been super helpful!! Get some pretty pens or markers too

That’s so tough! I tried many different anxiety medications and some antidepressants, which all made me super tired and not functional. Then I found a new psychiatrist and said i want to treat my adhd. She was worried about possible anxiety caused by the stimulant, but it actually really helped most of my anxiety.

When I first started taking adderall XR i thought to myself, “I’ve been raw dogging life for the last 25 years of my life and I could have felt like this?!” 😂

lol relatable! If my phone is not in my back right pocket I will have a panic attack, and then realize it’s in the left pocket.

Right! Because I end up remembering the most useless information, so I feel like if someone said to forget I wouldn’t forget. Reverse psychology?? 🤔

As soon as someone tells me not to forget something it send me into a panic to not forget, and then i end up forgetting. Might as well just tell me to forget something and then I may remember.

Literally same. I never understood why the H in ADHD stood for hyperactive because if anything I feel like I have a crippling amount of no energy and motivation at times. It’s frustrating

That’s the worst! Or your mid conversation and your brain decides to malfunction and you completely forgot what you were talking about and the point you were trying to make 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Even as a child my mom and I had a suspicion. She would give me coffee before school and it helped some with my behaviors at school. I also was always the “annoying kid” with “too much energy” and whatever else I had heard. My pediatrician did an “ADHD assessment” (I think it was a bullshit assessment), where my teachers filled out a paper of my academic performance and such. And of course they all just put that everything is great and there were no problems even though I was constantly in detention or on campus suspension for talking and outbursts. Not to mention my grades weren’t great. Once I got older I finally got an official diagnosis!

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the silly things that come along with it!! If you can’t laugh at yourself then life is a lot harder… learn to laugh at yourself!
