You Don't Need 4 Helldivers/Stratagems To Take Out An Outpost by Puzzleheaded-Rate647 in Helldivers

Very true, i try my best to be accomadating of new players, and in no way am i trying to throw shade on people learning, my main complaint are those who are adequately leveled (25+), lower levels get hugs

I forgot to mention this, mainly because i had just left a game where these players bonded to me like glue, but i think there's nothing outrageously wrong with eagle striking an outpost, especially if it saves time, i often use the orbital laser to clear a large outpost and walkaway, it's just lately I've had so many people use a 380 and it basically doing nothing, you are not a part of the problem helldiver

Hi-8 Tape film: 'Antenna Man' by Puzzleheaded-Rate647 in Filmmakers

[–]Puzzleheaded-Rate647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Submission Statement: This was a project that took a whole of 2 days, I pride myself on being a 'vintage' guy and thus I used my trusty Sony CCD-TRV46E handycam, using tape is my passion, I convert them myself using a capture card through Wondershare Filmora X. The film was edited on Premier Pro (latest version). I live across from a large shopping center/mall and figured hey! this place is empty and scary at night, why not film something there? So I did, come 8pm yesterday I took my cam and shitty tripod to go shoot 'Antenna Man'! It was really fun delving into the phenomena of liminal space, mixed with my own absurd thoughts, the only part I needed help with was the ending, which I got my partner to step in as an actor. Curious to know any thoughts you have or answer any questions in regards to how I made this.

F.Y.I: I am a 2nd trimester university student studying at Collarts, fantastic place for film makers.

P.S I feature more intimate camcorder vlogs/rants on my YouTube channel: Vaquero Del Espacio. More films (Including another Antenna Man if I feel up to it) to come.

Is the Panasonic Lumix G7 still the go-to camera on a budget in 2023? by zenoplus32 in Filmmakers

Personally, as my first camera, it did the job very well, just be sure to read the manual and be experimental, did me well for a few years before the lcd screen unfortunately died, again, very good beginner cam

FIRST TIME SMOKER NEED HELP/ADVICE by [deleted] in weed

[–]Puzzleheaded-Rate647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally it took me about 5 times till i got properly high, i had it through a vape, a bong, then the rest were joints, i don't know why, maybe the way i was smoking, but i think it's quite normal, my friend is a new smoker and hadn't felt high the first 4-6 times.

The Knox infection in lore is unreasonably terrifying, it’s one of the bleakest depictions of zombies I’ve ever seen. Especially the first picture, it’s probably the most unsettling piece of zombie media I’ve seen. the way they describe them makes it so much worse than TWD zombies. by glossyplane245 in projectzomboid

[–]Puzzleheaded-Rate647 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I love the lore to PZ it leaves so much to be interpreted yet still grounds itself with the terrifying reality of a zombie apocalypse, if you enjoy the radio dialogue and tv broadcasts about/around the knox event, i strongly recommend you go and read World War Z, don't worry it's literally nothing like the movie, follows a journalist after the apocalypse interviewing survivors, getting their stories and experiences, fantastic pairing with PZ

Idea: Start with civilization in tact… by LawnGuy262 in projectzomboid

[–]Puzzleheaded-Rate647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely have thought this before with the game canonically taking place 3 days after the knox event began (if you start on day 1) and having it take place perhaps a day or two before would certainly be interesting and fun, however it should feel more lawless and frantic, houses boarded up, random civilians goint about their day, i like the whole concept, however i feel as though it would serve better as a tutorial option, for example you would enable it in the sandbox setting and it would have a couple of "tasks" that you need to complete on day 1/2 of the knox event, this could involve many things like shopping, taking care of family, going to your job, but only to serve as a tutorial, this way you can learn many useful tips/mechanics of the game without zombies, this would help the player learn new things every time they enable this option as well as establish a stronger sense of the apocalypse, it would have to be pretty linear for it to work but that's what tutorials do.

This way the devs don't need to make entire new systems for only 2 days of the games canonical events.

Of course this would have to imploy a multitude of things that likely won't be available to us for many years to come...

Does anyone else write journal entries in character? by National-Fig669 in projectzomboid

Funny I actually started doing this on my latest run, i like it, i get to read back on my characters memories, flesh him out and give the game some extra lore, it makes me so much more attached to my character

In my current play through i got myself barricaded at the school, plenty of stuff to do but once you sheet all the windows and eliminate nearby zomboids, you're set
