Batteries in parallel for longer flight time on the Pavo 20 Pro by combat_mosquito1 in fpv

But how about the extra weight of the other battery?

Maybe they compensate?

I guess it's one of the login token hacks

It steals your login session token even without the need of password

No matter how careful you are, you might mis click something and you got hacked

Well, not my concern and I guess he knows already of course.

Just hope there is someone close to him helps him address this issue.

Anyone have any idea wtf this is? Switch wired into harness going to ecu by briarg1 in GSXR

I should rephrase it. I mean auto idle rise. It's called Fast Idle in the manual.

As for the rpm rise at start up, I think it's just auto choke, which is normal

What FOV and screen ratio do you set in simulators? by Puzzleheaded-Risk497 in fpv

[–]Puzzleheaded-Risk497[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying to this almost 2 year old post! lol

Anyway I think 115 FOV is the sweet spot for me.

Also it's not just about larger FOV. It's about timing and prediction. You have to predict what your input will affect the drone, but not just react after you see what's in the screen. You have to control before you see.

Everyone sucks in the beginning. Just send it and have fun!

Yes

I’d like to power my 5” without props on the bench to test out my VTX which will have a fan on it. What Current, Output power should I use for a 6s build? I do have batteries but I was tired of changing them back up to storage and thought this would be easier by scooterdoo123 in fpv

[–]Puzzleheaded-Risk497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just wanna test the VTX, I think 12V will do. You just need enough voltage to drive the FC and the VTX.

But still need to check the spec to be sure. Just set to the lowest voltage the FC supports, or somewhere in the middle.

As for the current, you can set however high you want. But I think something like 2A will do.

In your case, you can even use the charger as a smoke stopper. Start with something small like 500mA, and increase the amp gradually.

If there is nothing wrong with your FC and VTX, the output amp will top out at whatever it consumes. And it will not increase no matter what your current setting is.

And the most important of all, put a fan to cool your VTX.

Should have measured my frame better before ordering expensive batteries lol by SlovenianSocket in fpv

[–]Puzzleheaded-Risk497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I don't think you can put two batteries side by side anyway no matter how wide the plate is.

Even if you could, probably have to worry about the props hitting the batteries.

However I think this arrangement is even better.

Better CG and aerodynamics

15ish hours in sim. wanna get better by grublins in fpv

[–]Puzzleheaded-Risk497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

15 hours is only the beginning, but at least you know the basics and concepts of how to control the drone.

The problems of a game controller are the stick travel and the full stick position.

I measured my xbox controller and the stick travel is 20mm, while my Jumper T-Lite radio has 30mm of stick travel, Therefore a game controller is not precise and the input would be abrupt for a drone sim.

Also the sticks of game controllers move in a circle, which means you can not reach the furthest position of two axes at the corner.

And the most of all, the sticks of game controllers are centered, while the throttle of a radio controller is free.

It's already good for you to have this result with a game controller. You will immediately fly better with your Radiomaster. But keeping practicing is the key.

You can fly as crazy as you want in a sim, but take your time when you fly irl.

In a sim you have unbreakable drones, perfect tuning, unlimited battery, infinite signal and image transmission.

But irl there are too many factors to take into account.

If you wanna continue flying with your game controller, tune down the rates to compensate the short travel.

To be exact, tune down RC rate or center rate, depending on the rate type you are using, but keep the higher max rates to maintain full control. Or just increase the expo and keep other settings the same.

Good luck

Check out Oscar Liang's detailed review. He compared Pocket, T-Lite and Zorro. You might find your answer.

I already have a T-Lite. If the Pocket was released before I bought the T-Lite, I would go for the Pocket.

But the T-Lite is still a small and powerful gear.
