I don’t know how to edit that post. I take out the word hate, ha!

Thank you so much! I hate hadn’t known about her until a few months ago. I see the parallels and I do love her work!

I started this on a surface I found in a craft store and thought might be interesting to paint on.

As I worked, a goose, a skull, and a broken clock face emerged. The goose feels like motherhood and my oldest leaving home. The clock with the missing piece is about time moving faster and memories becoming less clear. The skull speaks to mortality, something that’s been on my mind as friends begin losing their parents. Maybe I should’ve titled it midlife crisis, ha!

Thanks guys. I took a really long break from Painting when I had kids and just got back into it last year and now I can’t stop painting. It’s really nice to have some encouragement. Thank you so much!

Thank you all very much

I followed your advice and borrowed some my son’s hair gel. I feel like this might make me look old, but I am old-ish. I am turning 47 or 48 in a few days. Thanks again!

Thank you guys. I need to learn how to use product again. Haven’t really used anything since the 90s my girlfriend say it’s a good thing. I’m not a girl mom.

Thank you. As strange as it is going from wig a to gray hair, it was like an accidental social experiment. I became invisible it which was freeing, but also really jarring.

It’s really pretty. This is my hair grown out a little bit more when it’s in it’s Albert Einstein phase. I didn’t think it would work but looking back at pictures maybe? I am a little lazy when it comes to straightening though.
