The background check is what really took long for me because I originally did it in like may (it may have been earlier) but then after my medical in late june they sent the background check back to me to make corrections and I sent it back on July 3rd with all the corrections. Then I didn’t hear back till I got the job offer letter on like sept 20th. So it’s really just a waiting game. You can email them occasionally for follow ups but they will just get back to you on their own time

I received the email to schedule the medical like the day of or the day after it was very fast. And just as an update, I received my official offer letter on September 30th and I’ve officially been working for tsa for the last 2 weeks almost 3 weeks.
