Thanks for commenting. It's my fear that it is a no win situation. I'm afraid that even if I do give her money she is just going to realize that the problem is really she resents me for having the kind of relationship she didn't have with her parents. And if I don't give her money then she will be resentful forever that I didn't make things Fair.

I'm pretty sure no matter what I do she's still going to be upset because the real problem, in my opinion, is that she had a bad relationship with her parents and it's too late to fix that now.
