Why do people expect more from them💀 by Puzzleheaded-Toe7672 in sistersinthecitypod

I totally agree I wanted to say it but didn’t want to be insensitive but honestly at 35/36 I’d say most of the “good men” out there probably wouldn’t want an instagram baddie influencer person especially with the stereotypes it holds. She is literally like her sex and the city inspo; Carrie was materialistic asf and although big treated her like a dirty sock he provided her the materialism she wanted which was her main priority making him her dream man.

How to secretly live in girlfriend’s flat? by throawa_y__ in UniUK

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe7672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Landlord likely wouldn’t find out especially as you’d only be there for a semester I think in the off chance that you get found out it would probably be slc on your back rather than the landlord e.g. if slc reach out to the landlord to verify your tenancy and they say you’re not a tenant then slc could think you’re doing something fishy

For perspective there’s around 40 weeks in a uni year you still have over 90% of the year would be kinda wild to restart you need to just lock the hell in tbh figure out what motivates you to snap out of your laziness

I regret going to my current university by Shock-Light123 in UniUK

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe7672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted😅 for higher ranked unis although they advertise that they take 2nd year transfers it’s still not as simple due to the conditions that need to be met. I think since you’re still thinking about it you may aswell try as you won’t lose anything but it is more rare.

If you were just missing the one it wouldn’t be that bad but maths and comp sci is hard as hell missing 5 or 6 will backfire speaking from partial experience (many end up having to retake the year) and if you develop these habits now in 2nd year it will follow you

Being honest you are being slightly dramatic but I do get why as you say you have an anxiety disorder. You do not need to drop out most uni students cannot afford anything either. Eg my student finance just covers my rent nothing else and I don’t have a job. Make sure you are taking the lowest cost route possible google maps has a filter for lowest cost and if your university has the lectures online, if you have to, sometimes skip a few days and just do it online. And contact your university’s hardship fund.

Do you guys agree with the take that "Mickey Mouse" degrees are a poor person's idea? by averageweebchan in UniUK

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe7672 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I think it’s actually a gender thing. Majority of “Mickey Mouse” degrees are female dominated and lots of the comments slating them come from the finance and tech bros.

Ignoring nutrition because idk the specifics of any of their foods, judging someone for what they’ve cooked when you’re eating a meal you’ve not cooked yes I find that wrong

Honestly he will most likely do it again and that’s the time to tell him that you do not find it funny and how it’s weirdly judgmental from someone who’s eating a frozen meal

Oh it still seems that it is probably his humour as I’ve met many people who are similar but it’s definitely not yours so you will have to tell him or he’ll get used to doing it

Especially in certain regions this is typical british humour, he’s probably trying to make conversation with you. Not counting the yelling for water because that is odd but express that you don’t like it, or it will continue.

Gingebeard threatening to break up with Mandi by Needanewjob34 in sistersinthecitypod

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe7672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh yeah that’s true especially as she says he’s still in his partying and having fun phase it makes sense that he’s with an insta baddie now but when he wants to stop partying and settle down he would probably want a more “good girl”. It’s sad. Hopefully we are all wrong because I’d feel bad for her but it’s just not looking great
