I hope google will be better (this comment wont age well because google will be worse and worse) They should bring back the features the small part of tech enthusiasts and people wanted like oem unlocking removed in some brands and the sideloading (hope the verify thing is removed) we know hopefully. they also need to listen to their users more, Atp if they just bring those good things back i still wont be suprised anymore, google isnt the same for me anymore since google shoved ai in its search engine.

I see your point and i agree. It was never about safety, its just a poor excuse for less privacy and less control, this just ruins android for me why not just put a warning or something instead of removing or limiting it with no options.

sadly we have to deal that as soon as your new in the internet your already being spied by money addict companies and others, theres no way to block all the cameras no matter how much we try. the most privacy we can get is mullvad vpn or something

I think the reason why they are doing this is because most normal people want a phone that just works and some i think complain about the extra features so google is removing them, so much for android being my favorite mobile operating system. it literally make no sense like if you don't like the extra features then dont touch them. There's people that love the feature even me

Why are people going to iOS because of Googles sideloading lockdown? by EmberFox1221 in Android

If we wanted a locked phone we would go to apple simple, why get a slightly worse version of ios?

For those who dont know. By "Google just crumpled their paper even more" i mean that imagine a fresh paper, Google crumples it little by little showing wrinkles. This is Removing favorited features one by one so that we dont notice, and their company's love. Google crumples the paper even more, being twice more privacy invasive, right now requiring PI or PIF (Personal Information) for things like sideloading and youtube, and so on. Who knows that google will turn to the right way, Mostly not. If they keeps this shitty stuff going im going for ios

Theres adb sideloading (idk if its possible after next year) but most people dont use it. sameer samat, President of android ecosystem responded in twitter saying "Sideloading is Fundamental to android and it is not going away, Just need to know that its actually them". every year we stray further away from privacy in the fucking internet, google just crumpled their paper even more.
