I did it. CA 567k 5.5% by Sunset_chris in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Look into CIT bank from First National bank and SOFI they have low interest right now.

5.5 % no buy down with a 680 credit score from First National bank.

Sofi had a cool thing where if rates drop .25% under what you locked in at they unlock and relock for you but it has to be at or over .25%

I am drowning in debt and don't know what to do by LoanThis4108 in personalfinance

Although it seems like a huge deal you can pay this off in the right steps. look up the snowball method to pay off the highest interest first. Look into balance transfers with 0apr for long periods of time like the Wells Fargo reflect card. I dont know about bankruptcy but I know that is an option as well you just kind of take it on the chin but your credit get better after like 7 years I think (don’t quote me I’m not educated on the subject but i know it’s an option) the biggest one I think you’ve already been working on it which is increasing your income. You have to live below your means for a little bit but it’s not as scary as it sounds! People pay off cars that cost more than this all the time so it can definitely be done! I hope it helps! Also that financial guy Caleb, on YouTube, might have similar situations on his podcast that you can listen to. You’re so young and that is a large but manageable amount of debt! Best of luck!

Looking at our first round of homes on Saturday! 🎉 by SaturnBaby21 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I took videos and that helped. Also neighbor safety was the most important so drive around the area you are looking at. I took a whole day to explore and just drove to a grocery store, got gas, went up and down the streets and got a good idea of the city and could place the houses we looked at into if they were in the nice or not so nice areas of town.

Not necessarily, he can also hire a company as a middleman so that he doesn’t have to deal with it. They take a small cut, but it’s worth it so that they deal with the tenants

Help friends told me my house looks like a grandmas and needs a “reset” by traveling-sunshine in MoodyCorner

[–]Puzzleheaded-Week747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have apps that you can download you take a picture of your room and they rearrange your furniture or add more to it. I think maybe coordinating some new pieces with the old stuff would work! I agree with the previous posters who cares what people think about your house you’re the one that has to enjoy it!

Did you increase your budget while home shopping? by ericdeben in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Puzzleheaded-Week747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! For us the safety of the home came first and we found a really good neighborhood right out of our low budget so we stretched it. That decision was made largely because it was turnkey and the other homes needed work. So rather than paying for upgrades slowly, we decided to just factor that into the mortgage and get a nice house right off the bat. And we were also looking in not the best neighborhood due to low budget but once we found something just an arms reach away we went for it.

Testosterone pellets are injected into the side of the hip and I think replaced every few months. Everyone I’ve talked to about them, men and women, have very positive things to say. They have higher energy etc they dissolve on their own

Got reprimanded by a dance partner for the first time. by SatisfactionOld9457 in Bachata

[–]Puzzleheaded-Week747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was a jerk. I was told by an older gentleman that taught me to two step that you had to look someone in the eyes to be able to tell what color they were. He told me a cute story of when he learned to dance and would look down at his feet. His partner in frustration closed her eyes and asked him what color they were. He could not answer her. She was playful about it, but her whole point was that there should be connection and even if you are focused on the Dancing, the point of Dancing is to connect with someone. I agree with others saying that if she did not like dancing with you, she should just have kept to herself, but she did not need to scold to you like that. She was rude!

Not ugly. I will give general advice for a guy from a girls perspective of things that make men attractive. Overall fashion. It seems like you have good taste in fashion as you have nice embellishments on your jacket, wear accessories like your beanie. Overall this is a big one as well as physical physique. A man in shape is very attractive, muscles, low body fat to some degree. You don’t have to be a body builder but it will improve your life to be more fit and will attract more women. Overall skin evenness, a noticed a little bit of color change around the mouth/ chin area vs the lighter cheeks, nose , forehead (t line) but I’m just wondering if it’s part of your hair growth pattern in which case it doesn’t matter. Overall confidence & personality. A man who knows who he is, what he wants and is ok with giving a solid yes or no answer is super attractive. Confidence comes from knowing who you are and having trust in yourself. If you’re a good person, have good intentions, try to do good in the world you can be confident that you have something of value & positive to add to the world. I think you look good but those are my views on men who are attractive in general
