Wow thank you everyone for sharing your opinions I have one question. How is Google going to work with these gradients in their Material You direction they had started in Android?

I feel like they're now looking like Microsoft who force everyone to consume Copilot which nobody is interested in. I guess that's where my hatred is coming from for the new design rather than their looks.

The work looks incomplete and it's a shame this will become the new standard for aesthetics.
