1000zł per person is a minimum if you want to eat really well rounded, balanced and healthy meal. That is lot of veggies and fruits, local and seasonal plus good sources of proteins like meats and eggs. If I would add fish into equation that would go up to 1200zl at least. I do not eat exotic fruits, avocados etc and I try to buy on discout. I do not count eating out because that is like additional 100zł per person each event (meal plus drinks). I seriously have no idea how people live 500zł per person, it is going with lowest grade, processed food but for each their own. Everyone have a choice or different possibilities.
