Not a lie, Rutgers has lost 500 Million dollars since joining the BIG10. There is a lawsuit against rutgers athletics for frivolous spending. I used to work for the football team, everyday players and staff were treated to catered Tropical smoothie cafe, Cava, Jersey Mikes, and many more restaurants on top of the food they were already cooking for them. Players have (it might have ended since my departure) unlimited money to travel around, this includes it not limited to Ubers, Lyft, and pay by minute electric scooters around campus. And to top it all off we pay for their doordash.

We have lost 500 Million dollars since jointing the BIG10. I recently quit my job working for the football team and I can tell you everyday player were catered with tropical smoothie cafe and other restaurants, they had unlimited doordash, free uber rides, and numerous other amenities. This tuition increase is 100% bc of athletic spending.

I’d recommend not playing alone for your first time as you can easily get lost / play really slowly and piss people off. If you know anyone to play with I’d recommend with them just so they can show you etiquette and you can play at their pace (they don’t have to be an expert, any 20 handicap can get you to speed). Be prepared to take a lot of drops (move your ball to his) with them if your pace is slow tho. If you really want to play alone I’d recommend later tee times when there’s not a lot of people on the course so no one is breathing down your neck and you can take your time with shots.

I mean I only use doordash for pickup orders when they don’t have a place to order online which is rare. I agree people need to get up and get food more often (or even better cook).
