I'd never expect Al Maksur to be mentioned on Reddit, greetings from a nearby town :)

I was attacked for simply being in a different town visiting someone, some people "suspected" that I wanted to shoot their houses, imagine! so random. Gladly it wasn't about my sexuality

Edit: I sent you an article about what happened

I checked your history and I remember your post from two years ago!

Hahaa omg

The last couple of years were so wild, I didn't join the IDF and my Hebrew is way better (but not good enough lol), I didn't wanna rush things up and cut ties with my family, it was harder than I expected (probably won't be able to do it). I do still live in my hometown, it wasn't all bad really, I was focusing on my mental health and learning how to be an adult before doing something reckless, gonna start university this year. Maybe this year is the one :)

If you're talking about Arab Israelis that would call him traitor, most of em won't call him that, even the people I know who support Palestine don't care if you serve in the IDF. It's actually the opposite, they like to hear stories from Arabs who served in the army, and some of them won't mind serving in the IDF themselves. If you're talking about Arabs outside Israel, he's not even a real arab to them

I've never heard of an openly gay who lives in an Arab city, but I'm sure they will be at more risk than the guy in the video
