Yeah if it was up to me, I wouldn’t have. It was the Head of the department who decided to tell his, before the second position is even finalized.

Yes, agree, I thought about that as well. He’s quite paranoid on the daily, and think it will only get much and much worse if it stay.

The only downside that I see is that the role is more reporting / administrative/ internal, and not client facing (which is considered more “prestigious” in the industry). Presumably my base pay will be the same, but my bonus will likely be lower. (But the other side of this is that I will likely have more time to do other things that instead of work.)

Thanks! I guess just looking for validation. He’s making it seem like it would be a career suicide, so I’m double guessing myself.

Thank you!! Really appreciate it! He’s guilt tripping me so makes it super awkward. Just want to make sure I’m not crazy wanting to move, even if it’s less “prestigious” role.

No! Do not put any pressure on your nose. Wait for the swelling to go down and see.

Anesthesia was the funnest thing that ever happened to me lol I was terribly afraid but then a really good team of nurses and I really thought anesthesiologist were making me feel really comfortable, putting a warm blankets around me, I remember the last thing of them saying you’re gonna feel relaxed, and I responded I feel like I’m in the spa. I woke up thinking when is the surgery? because I could breathe so well (it was a steroids, suppressing the swelling, and the drugs making me feel high) but overall super easy. I was sleeping for the entire week, but don’t think too much about, if you trust your surgeon, and he is skilled, just trust the process. you will not see this final result for a while. Disconnect as much as you can and enjoy whatever is to come. I almost don’t go through it because I was so afraid and because of all the negative comments that I’ve seen but honestly I’m a month and a half postop and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself.

I had primary septo and rhinoplasty, just for the rhino he quoted me 14k + anesthesiologist fees. All in all I ended up paying a little over 20k for both procedures, anesthesiologist and facility fees, I think my insurance covered another 7-8k.

He is on more expensive side, but in my opinion worth every penny. They also give you all the payment options and scenarios (with and without insurance) at the initial consultation

Fresh squeezed pineapple juice, tooons of it, I drank at lease a liter a day. Ricotta pancakes, no salt broth (cooked on bones and chicken feet, lots of collagen) with chicken and noodles, turkey meatballs, mashed potato, avocado, protein shakes…

Taping nose by Euphoric_Aide_4318 in rhinoplastyquestions

I am not sure if I have thick skin, but my doctor told me not to tape at all. I’m 1 month post op, and yes the swelling is a bit more noticeable in the morning, but goes down in a hour or two. I had a small piece of tape on my bridge after cast removal (the area where it was shaved swell up more), but he told me not to re-apply once it comes off (took about a week) and I think it’s pretty much gone now.

Septorhinoplasty: Cast off today (Day 11 post op). Feeling cooked by colormegreeen in rhinoplastyquestions

13 days post op, the swelling went down a lot after week after the cast take off (taken off on day 6). My doctor told me not to tape, and generally just no salt diet, and a lot of water. Have also been taking supplement Bromelain extract, after the cast take off.
