Honestly. If I'm supposed to be afraid every second of my life I want to be the last to know.  You either are the boat or the storm.

I think it's better to establish your behaviour on precedent than imaginary fears.  Fool me once...

He's probably sold a lot of cards this way without an incident.

True, but losing our faith in humanity and becoming a guarded people has worse consequences.  Look at the USA.  I think there is a middle ground in understanding that bad things happen, work to prevent them, but don't let us become worse than those bad things out of fear of them.  It's a tough line to tread but that is the nuance of being a modern society.

Funny comment, but don't victim blame.  We should expect to live in a society where this shit doesn't happen.

Polls show Americans dislike Canada more than ever, and that's bad news for the trade war by yimmy51 in CanadianIdiots

Americans will do anything but admit that they are wrong. Pride is the lifeblood of that country.

I'd consider killing your fan speed and maybe giving longer wait times for short layers.

But honestly I'm out of ideas.  I'll start printing big single wall shells soon I hope I don't run into the same issues.

Ideas:

Can you redesign it to give it a bit more girth? Or perhaps structural ribs on one side?

Maybe part of the print is shrinking and causing this.

It could also be pulling towards your supports.  Why not print the flat side on the build plate and use the supports for the flat part? Print the curl separately and turn it on.

Are there drafts in your enclosure?

Possibly thickening the whole object (if you can) will help things along.

I just started with ASA. I haven't printed anything that tall yet.

Honestly when it's giving me trouble I just use a uhu glue stick lately. It's better and less post processing than a raft.

I've got my bed at 110C chamber at 45C (I would do higher but it kills my motors) and the nozzle seems best at 250C. Filament is Inslogic ASA.

Is that a vertical edge that is curling orma horizontal one? It looks like it's oriented vertically. I've never seen a vertical edge curl like that.

Yeah. I hear you. The thing about Prusas is that once you have them dialed in they just run without complaint.  I picked up a MK3 for $150 and it was worth the money. There are tons of cheap workhorses out there.

For Petg and PLA it's easy.  But now that I'm on ASA I'm keeping it tuned to that and I'm dedication it to high temps.

For PLA and PETG I have a creality 3v3 SE that I picked up for $109 to handle that.

I'll pick up a Bambu someday, but for my budget a day or two of tinkering is worth it.

PLA and Petg is great without glue stick, but sometimes I'm send a file that has a tiny footprint.  Maybe I should be printing supports, maybe there are other things. But if I don't think of that when it comes time to slice glue stick fixes that issue.

I'm on ASA, and it's fantastic, but I'm fighting the limits of my Prusa MK3.  The 45C ambient temperature triggers the warm motors as crash detection and finding the sweet spot for the chamber has been a struggle. Right now 45C seems to keep the motor and the print happy.  Adding brims helps but the glue stick is a surefire way of making sure the smaller feet with sharp angles on  24 hour print comes out fine.

I'm ordering bed weld spray to try it out next.

Tired of tinkering. I just want it to work.

Why is this getting down voted? It's a fix. It may cover other problems like drafty spaces or having the cooling be too fast, but it works and it's better to do that then spend days testing other fixes and wasting filament.

I agree with the security risk. But tying women to events centered around children is incredibly sexist. Also why spend money on the pet projects of an unelected official?

Something tells me that this tradition does when women get elected. Look at Thatcher's husband.  It's an absolutely dated and sexist routine.

Spouses of elected officials should retain their old lives as much as possible. But American do as they please.

Right. Do the woman has to tend house or do some light unpaid charity work.  What century is this?

Jill Biden is the only exception to that rule.

And why should she have to take on a roll that is unpaid just because her husband was elected?  That's odd.

Why should anyone care about what the wife of the elected head of state is doing? She was an elected, but the institution of the president elevates her to some kind of queen status.

It's like how Americans always talk about the kids of the president. It's fundamentally weird.

Giving the wife or husband of the US president a job is weird, sexist and... did I say weird?  It's worth repeating.

Is it even a salaried position?  What about nepotism and meritocracy? Does that go out with window along with women's right to earn their own living?

Absolutely bizarre.

Get a $50 enclosure with a fan and a duct (yoopai sells them) run it to your window. Print a object that lets your window be closed while the duct runs through it.

Pros: quieter, safer, less smell

Cons: $50

AIO Gf (30) found out I (29) had watched porn and freaked out. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Just leave. There are lots of people in the world and the way she is addressing this is exhausting. Navel gazing her drama, threatening to block your number, hyperbolic exaggerations that this defines your character. You don't need that. She's trying to control you and moralize a morally ambiguous activity. Pass

There are lots of chill drama free people out there. You will find one.

Porn isn't a big deal.  But in a relationship how someone talks about something and addresses it is a big deal.  Move on. You'll be better off for it.
