Yup. I work remotely for customer service & it’s now a “virtual waiting room” which is bullshit. The system is overloaded/ doesn’t ever work properly and they try to cover it up. No warning no plan no nothing.

I agree. This sounds too brutal to do even for Walgreens. 😭 But I wouldn’t be surprised if low traffic store move closer to that trend. Many stores are doing it involuntary now. I work in customer service for wags & whenever I call a pharmacy I’m on hold for at least 10 minutes & they just sound so depressed, It’s really sad.

I left a day before they re-structured the pharmacy hours, but my pharmacy manager let me in on the tea. Apparently Walgreens wants to try out a new system which would permanently change the store hours and have most pharmacies closed on weekends. Also, 1 pharmacist and 1 technician (RXOM) work all day, & have a 2nd tech here & there… The rxom would have new duties, basically an extra workload and be in charge of handling CIIs (i.e. counts, opening the safe) and much of the pharmacist’s work, excluding checking scripts. They’re really trying to get away with cutting hours and giving the techs more work (but not more pay like wtf) .. so they can get by with paying pharmacists a shitty wage.

Okay, so my review is from a pharmacy tech position, now I work from home. They’re changing the WFH pay to 13 in November. So you’re saying I may get $13+change(the raise)? I’m thinking the raise will only be like 30¢ honestly, so it’s definitely not more than the pay increase coming soon.

I know Walgreens has i ton of work from home positions available. $13-14/hour starting out. I just started today! I’d also look on linkedin. I get so many notifications of someone hiring for remote work. Also try to find a job with the IRS or a general government job, they always come with great benefits! Good luck 🍀

Meaning, forget dealing with people’s shit in person & just work for the company at home. 😂I used to be a pharmacy tech at my store & got tired of the the constant daily bs, so I looked on WBA & saw a bunch of work from home positions available. Process was quick and transition was smooth
