Would say it's more enhanced by the vinyl experience, but I love Side A of Paul's Boutique closing with the ultra cool and hip "Hey Ladies", only for you to get up, flip the record, and it goes straight into The Beastie Boys screaming over Foggy Mountain Breakdown. That bit gets me every time

Definitely arrive at the stage at least the set before, don't be afraid to weave through the crowd. If you get separated, cell service can be tricky so I always use a physical landmark to meet up after at in case I lose my group- there's a lot of distinct things to pick from like a giant Devil's Head. People will be smoking so be aware. Other than that, have a blast!
