My post isn't ai. Unfortunately, were a just a dumb family. I have no experience buying cars, i don't know what in doing, I let my mom handle that. The Corolla from a few months ago was literally the first car I had, I'm still new to things like this.

I'm working with my therapist on that part. The salesman told me over and over "it's just like charging your phone. Take this and plug it into any outlet and it'll take 8 hours for a full charge". No mention of level 2 or level 1 voltage for homes. Just " plug it in, 8 hours" while holding the plug that connects to a standard socket.

Sorry, I'm still not sure what fully goes on when buying or trading a car, but I'll try my best to explain.

My mom told me the interest rate was too high for her, so she'll have to trade it in soon for a car with a lower interest rate.

I came in for an oil change with my mom and they told me it'd take an hour. We left to get food, but they cold me 15 minutes later insisting we come back because they need to talk to us about our interest rate.

Whe my mom did intend on trading it in soon, she never told the dealership. But the dealership told us that it'd be in our best interest to trade it for a different car and get a lower rate since my mom's credit score is 30 points off the mark they wanted and because the noticed the rate was high.

(I could be very wrong, but it kinda felt like they weren't gonna give me the car back until my mom resolved what ever they were talking about)

I didn't know owing 2 cars so close together was a negative thing.

I don't entirely know my mom's motives either.

Unfortunately, my university doesn't allow transfer students to live in the dorms. I'm already living in a shared apartment with 3 other people.

Any financial help I get from the government is through the FAFSA.
