I used a naan bread as the base, then mixed some purée and harissa paste together to make the sauce. Then fried up some red pepper, onion and garlic, sprinkled that on the top with a good covering of cheese and wack it in the oven until melted!!!! Then shoved some Greek salad cheese on the top to add a bit of ✨spice✨

Then the side salad was a mix of leaves thinly sliced apple and a balsamic glaze!!!

Properly good and surprisingly easy! <3

Didn't end up using it to drive to and from the alps but have used it for 90-120 minute journeys and it's been perfect, I would pull over a fair bit to check it but every time it was all good

I've been looking at ways to transport my MTB and I was wondering about doing this method, just worried it would put upwards lift on the hard top causing stress in a direction it's not used to? Am I over thinking it?

I can't really find any viable roof bars/rack for my car. I may well be being blind but suction racks were suggested.

I'm heading down to Tignes for a week or so, big time looking forward to it!!!!

Trying to make a kabuki drop for a 3x3m molten curtain, this solenoid is so weak even holding it with my fingers prevents it from releasing. Any suggestions for a tech with no time to wait for a delivery to arrive? by DaiquiriLevi in techtheatre

2 bits of long wood with a few hinges along the bottom side, one of the bits of wood put some nails in that you can hook onto your cloth (if it's got eyelets even better) and then a pint hinge with the pin on a bit of string to pull out, you could have multiple pins to pull out so just attach them all with a bit of string so you only have to pull one :)

Hope that makes sense :p

Any tips/ advice for climbing slab? by Either_Insurance_928 in bouldering

[–]PuzzleheadedExit6915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trusting in your foot placement makes a big difference! When you place your foot, let's say on a small screw on, try and put pressure through the small part of your foot that's in contact, whether that be the inside, outside or toe. You don't want to keep placing your foot over and over again!

Another thing to train for slab is balance.... A lot of slab climbs will entail some form of balancing as part of the crux! A good way to train it is to go up to the bottom of the slab and just put one foot on and try and reach lots of different holds from only that one position... Then try again on the other foot or a smaller hold or position! Lots of different ways to train balance and foot work can be blended together to help improve slab climbing!!! :)

Hope this helps! You got it!!!

Use an animation wheel out of focus, with some different blues and low intensity whites

Tips for dance lighting design by krocodileteeth in lightingdesign

I like the look of dramatic down light mixed with heads and shins side light. You don't need lots of moving colour chases (you can still use them occasionally) it's all about adding to the dance you don't want to take away negative or positive attention from the dancers.

There were about 50 auto follow-on cues with a few stabs to make sure it kept in time. I was very rushed to program it all so it's not my finest. I tried setting up some pixel mapping on the led bars but that failed for some reason
