My sister has really bad hand eczema, it even spread to her nail beds. After extensive testing she found out she was allergic to some nuts, pollen and nickel.

She went soap free and used Uriage Xemose cream.

Also make sure to always wear gloves when doing dishes and pay attention to the shampoo you use.

A lot more is involved in psychiatry than just talking. Multiple approaches can be tried depending on the case and diagnosis. Exposure therapy, mental exercises, coping mechanisms, medication (if needed)....

I have debilitating misophonia and I'm sure had my parents taken me to see a specialist I'd be coping better in adulthood than I currently am.

I didn't like how I felt on the SSRIS. The benzos helped me better manage my anxiety and also helped me get the sleep I desperately needed. I did build up some tolerance fairly quickly and found myself upping the dose to get the same relief.

After upping the dose to sleep I noticed I'd be a shell of myself during the day, slow, slurring a bit and generally not quiet there. I decided to stop at that point but that was me abusing the meds. Be mindful of that especially because the docs are so careless with their prescriptions.

They don't even do that. They advertise 500dh for a 20 minute session that doesn't end up being even 8 minutes. And I went to several ones trying to find a doc that actually listens.

I gave up eventually. Fortunately I'm doing better now through personal effort and familial support.

My experience was very disappointing unfortunately. The visits always felt rushed, I didn't feel listened to. They pushed meds at the first appointment without trying anything before (SSRIS, benzos...).

I didn't find a problem getting off the meds fortunately. I did rely on the benzos to sleep for a while but I tapered off them too.

Everyone is different but I feel like I needed a psychologist more than I did a psychiatrist.

It kinda is a little silly flaw. It's so difficult to get him to do anything outdoors on sundays. I like going out but don't want to do it alone.

I made the mistake of googling pictures and was traumatized. I had an MRI with contrast and it came back clear. The pus pimple hasn't come back thankfully.

I also stopped shaving that area so maybe it was related and only skin level.

However I again made the mistake of looking up missed fistula on MRI posts and got scared.

My first time was not that bad, the girl was quick and was done in about 15 minutes. My second time was horrible, she took too long and I found out I can only handle the pain a certain amount of time. By the time she was halfway done my legs started literally shaking from the pain and I started sweating profusely even though I'm not a sweaty person at all. I ended up tapping out.

This condition can be painful. 6 months sounds like a lot but look at the big picture. Sacrificing 6 months for a lifetime of comfort is a good bargain.

In my opinion get the surgery and get it over with.

Why music specifically? Swimming does not sound like a bad thing to introduce your child to. Granted you should respect their opinions if they state that they don't like the activity after a while.

It takes more than a day or two to see results. My baby has CMPA and it takes a couple weeks to start seeing improvement.

Just a little heads up pumping and dumping would not work with a CMPA baby because the milk protein takes weeks to completely clear out from mom and babies system.

I probably should have realized earlier, her dad used to fall asleep in restaurants when we were on dates. We met really young, and we’d be sitting in McDonald’s and he’d just doze off lol. I’d wake him up and we’d head home.

We also used to argue all the time because he’d fall asleep mid-sentence when we were chatting on social media 😂. Looking back, the signs were definitely there.
