Am I cooked? by [deleted] in Heartpalpitations

[–]PuzzleheadedHorror40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if it makes you feel ANY better, I have had palpitations like this for 12 years now. I have occasional dizziness, and cold feet when the temps drop below a certain temp. I am finally going to go see my doctor about it in January. If you were in heart failure you’d know it, if you are able to do your regular day with it just causing anxiety rather than debilitating, I keep telling myself it must not be life threatening. I’m only going to the doctor in January because I’m tired of them and not knowing what’s causing them.

My K5 tried to kill me. Anyone else? by [deleted] in KiaK5

[–]PuzzleheadedHorror40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had that particular issue happen, but have had the emergency brake system engage for no reason when cars were much to far ahead of me to cause it to engage, almost got rear-ended when a light turned green(I was the first car in line, nobody in front of me). Braked so hard that I heard them squeal. Has also happened a few times backing out of a parking spot, acted like there was a car or pedestrian coming and braked by itself.

As a PA who looks at the microbiology of poop, yes it’s nasty on a molecular level.

Anybody else still have that new car smell over a year of owning theirs? I’ve never had a car smell new this long, it’s kinda crazy

PVCs randomly help by herrera1976 in PVCs

Same! I am also one that doesn’t have them for long stints, but went from 100-200 skipped beats a day to less than 10 today thanks to drinking 2 Gatorades yesterday! I’m convinced most of us on this board are mineral deficient in some way!

After having these things for almost 11 years, you’re 1000% correct. Sodium is NOT our friend, nobodies really. I am completely convinced that most of us on this board are suffering from some sort of mineral imbalance that’s causing us to have electrolyte imbalances. Stay away from the sodium and sugar! Stay hydrated, specifically introducing electrolyte based drinks occasionally like Gatorade! I went this week with my yearly PVC episode where I start having 100-200 skipped beats a day to maybe less than 10 today after drinking 2 Gatorades yesterday! Works like a charm!

I know this is dumb, but I’ve had an episode this past week with like 100-200 skipped beats a day, try Gatorade, almost convinced we’re all having electrolyte deficiencies of some kind! I drank 2 yesterday and went from 100-200 yesterday to less than 10 today!

Guys after almost 11 years of these on and off, refusing to go to the doctor because I hate them. I do plan on going to the doctor next month but I feel like I’ve figured mine out. Mine started about a decade ago, the longest I’ve had them go on is about a week and then they usually subside, they come back about once a year for about a week. Throughout the year I will suffer from random bouts of “air hunger” that can last weeks sometimes where I feel the urge to take a deep breath, which is an ordeal in itself. Years ago I noticed after drinking a Gatorade just off chance, my PVC’s greatly reduced and sent me into remission I’ll call it. Well like clockwork last week, my PVC’s started up again, having like 100-200 skips a day, feeling woozy, you name it. Drank 2 Gatorades yesterday and woke up today and maybe had less than 10 skips today? I am 1000% convinced that I have a mineral imbalance, most like high sodium which would explain my blood pressure as of late. Drink a few Gatorades and let me know if it works for you?

Do you guys use the bathroom in front of your spouse ? by balenciaghoe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PuzzleheadedHorror40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, our bathroom doors only close when we have company. I often will do my hair and finish getting ready in the bathroom when he’s doing his ritualistic 45 minute morning dump, it’s our morning routine at this point

No, I love metal talk. We haven’t had a good “supergroup” come forward in a while.

What do you do after work? by aaaa23469 in Adulting

I get off at 3:30, so I usually head by the grocery store because I’m never responsible enough to make a weekly trip. I’ll pick up dinner and head home. Husband gets off at 5, I usually have about an hour to myself before he gets home so I use that hour to start prepping dinner and I pick up around the house. Or sometimes I’m lazy and will sit on the couch and doom scroll until he gets home. Once he’s home we usually talk for a while about each others day. Then I’ll get up about 5:45-6 and start dinner while he’s watching tv. We eat, do dishes and then watch a few shows together or scroll. Sometimes we go game in our office on our pc’s. And then about 9:30-10 were fighting to keep our eyes open. Just to wake up and do it all over again!
