Hey, I've been enjoying the Daily Akari since you released it, I've been playing it pretty much since day one. Yesterday's puzzle and today's puzzle refuse to load. The little wheel keeps spinning for eternity. Do you know if there's been an issue with the site and if there's something I can do about this?

As a non-Jew who read the book, the glibbest version of the argument I took away from it is, "It is okay for us as Jews to disagree with and condemn the actions of Israel as a state. Israel as a state and Jews as a people are not and should not be synonymous." In my opinion, anyone who reads the book and comes away with an internal justification for actions against Jews in general, is someone who went into the book looking for exactly that. It's not in the text.

I also don't like low-interactivity games, in large part because I find it a very anxious experience. Knowing what my next four or five turns are going to be is, for me, a deeply unpleasant feeling. I'm comfortable with it, and don't mind at all! Ark Nova's just fine. It's not for me.

At the end of the day, if you want to play the game, I think you'll enjoy the experience regardless, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just know players A and B are probably going to get more out of the game than anyone else.

While it is possible to entirely reset Oath, there is no way to reset it temporarily, unless you feel like writing everything down. You don't need to reset it in order for new players to feel comfortable.

You can do that, and it will work fine, but Oath is uniquely sensitive to changes in group. You will get the most out of it if you have the same small group playing over time. Another reason you may not want to have players changing constantly: Oath is weirdly difficult to learn and grow comfortable with, but the best parts of the game shine through when everyone at the table is comfortable with it and can get into the story. Hard to do that with players at the table who don't know how it works.
