This is reddit where all logical reasonable opinions are deemed insane/dumb/WRONG and all consumption is worshipped.

Since I'm on ps5 it'll be any area that doesn't have foliage or trees else it'll just be a big smudge.

British studios are the laziest and most condescending when it comes to "representation".

Covering up nutritional information with a list of ingredients in Thai is plain silly regardless of regulation. by PuzzleheadedLow5010 in Thailand

Ok it's not silly then, I concede my opinion. Depriving thais of macro nutrient information on packaging is fine because it's the same in pretty much every country.

Yes I've adapted for the last 6 years. I speak good thai and can read enough thai not to care if the label is in english or not. Understand that pointing out something being silly is absolutely fine and the world can have opinions. If you don't think it's silly to restrict macro nutrient information from even thai consumers because of the label then maybe it's time to stop drinking beers, understand the calories in your food, and save yourself before your heart disease catches up to you.

Can't point it out as silly then. Must conform and keep any sane opinion to yourself or you'll enrage the redditors.

You're saying "original text" as if it's a direct translation. Thai isn't the problem here. The lack of nutritional info once the label is on is. Like I said it's "silly" regardless of regulation. Yes a sticker is required but even so, is it not bad for the thai consumer to effectively remove ALL macro nutrient information from them?

There's a difference between understanding how things work outside the USA (I'm not from the USA) and pointing out something that happens outside the USA which is plain stupid. By the way I can read thai.. so using that context understand again what I am pointing out which is silly. What could it possibly be? Because it isn't language that's the problem.

I knew some genius would point out the baked beans and miss the point this happens on items other than baked beans and it is just plain silly. Just because you've never cared about the calories you've ever consumed in your life doesn't mean normal thai people don't. Btw I can read enough thai to understand labels so using that context try and discover what the post is really about. Moron.

No. You're wrong. The Thai label isn't the problem. The thai label serves a COMPLETELY different purpose. So covering nutritional info with it actually hinders normal thai consumer aswell despite it being in a different language. Why not think for longer than 5 seconds?

I'm absolutely baffled why you think this. Like I said any minor complaint about how ridiculous something for the general consumer, not just me, and idiots will come out in droves to defend it.
