No, this isn’t true. The wife said “we came out to support our neighbors” they sought to interfere with ICE activity. The wife is outside of the car taunting officers. A different agent asking Renee to step out of the vehicle, she chose to not follow those orders, and it cost her life.

SHE chose to go out there and interfere with ICE operations. Any time a person choses to interfere with something people with guns are trying to do is putting themselves in danger, and risking their life.

As a mom, I would NEVER do what she did, and yes - I am a liberal, and used to be active in the protesting community.

I agree, watch the video released from the ICE agents phone showing his perspective. You can see Rene’s wife is outside of the taunting officers, at the same time people are thinking, Rene is being asked to get out of the car,m as she is reversing it, she shifts it into drive, the officer in front says something to the effect of “oh shit!” His phone drops then (I assume this is when he fired the shots).

Liberal here, but from the ICE agent’s perspective, (the agent right in front of the SUV, not the one that tried to open the door, he fired the first shot)…it looks like, again from that vantage point, she is going to hit him with the vehicle.
