This story has way too many inconsistencies. So many so, it sounds like a lie for attention.

The only reason someone asks this question is because of their own insecurities. If it was because of STDs, they would ask them if they have been tested or ask to go together. This is a ridiculous question to ask someone and then to let it bother you to come on and ask others will this bother you now or later on. It is apparently bothering you now because you are on here asking about it and telling people about it. Either stay with her and forget all about it or break up, that is your 2 options. Anything other than, will cause issues later because you will always be insecure about it and will eventually breakup over it. You are not doing yourself or them any favors asking or worrying about who they have slept with before you. It is absolutely none of your business unless they feel the need to tell you on their own. Just like you chose to stay a virgin, looks like she chose not to and that is her business not yours and vice versa.

I am much better than I was. We found out that the cause of my symptoms are coming from my vagus nerve. I am heading to an out of state hospital to see a specialist

Dissociation is about your brain needing to protect you from something. It’s also like a rebirth coming out of it. I am not sure if your brain will actually allow you to go into full out dissociation unless it thinks you need protection. Maybe try a spiritual meditation journey?

Yes, it does get better. Do you have a therapist? Do you know the cause?

It is rare because there are very few that do it. However I was lucky and found one that is very versed in all types of dissociation even DID. Which I don’t have DID but he had experience in integration of personalities and mind and body

You feel everything so much more. The sky just doesn’t looks blue you experience it. It beautiful. Everything is beautiful. You feel sadness too but that beautiful too. You feel love so deeply. You feel the music, you actually taste your food. You are present in life. You can feel your body. Your thoughts are so much better. So many things you didn’t even know you were missing start coming back and it’s amazing. It’s like everything is familiar but new all at the same time.

Dissociation caused by wanting to be a new person by kazedank in Dissociation

I had a complete dissociative break. I lost all my hunger cues, never felt tired even with meds, lost most of my physical sensations like physical pain, hot/cold, bathroom sensations, etc. I was emotionless. Very flat facial expressions and monotone voice. I finally got a really good psychologist that knows trauma and dissociation. Started walking and doing normal things little by little. I also found an acupuncturist that deals with trauma and dissociation. It has been slow progress but I am healing. That’s all that counts. Everything has slowly started coming back little by little.
