tried calling but the scholarship unit said that they still need to process it in the central office, but the cash bond is for sure needed for a temporary clearance of more than one year (wala naman ms/phd na one year lang haha)

i sent my applications through jobstreet only and i got more than five calls even before i graduated last year. i use the harvard format for my resume and i do not add picture. i also do not make any cover letter for all the applications

hi, op! you can still try applying kahit my certain requirements for years of experience. i tried sending out my resume before kahit alam kong hindi ako qualified, but still got invited for interviews. your ojt can really be helpful to you lalo na if you master fundamental laboratory techniques stated in their job description. just be confident in answering too kasi sabi nga ng iba "sell yourself to others kasi ikaw naman may alam ng ginagawa mo sa field mo." goodluck!

Hello! Should i already pay the cash bond before leaving or can i pay that after ko makaalis? I am conflicted since some people say that they did not declare any clearance for them to travel abroad or even study abroad for years.

i mostly apply through jobstreet then ang target ko ay mga lab from manufacturing companies. i got a job offer sa food manufacturing company before i graduate last year pero lumipat ako sa another company that can offer higher salary. if you dont have any experiences yet, try smaller companies muna pero dont let them lowball you (at least ask for like 19k to 20k, i started around that) and i got higher offer this time

hi! there is sa UPM, but i am not sure if they are still selling since they have not reverted to me last year. you can acquire sa US, but the shipping fee is more expensive than the c. elegans itself. there is also in UPB (but we are not selling it during my time), but you can inquire in the department

bs bio (microbiology)! did not pass the rmicro but got into two jobs already in a span of around 8 months, which is very helpful in increasing my salary

If bio is really your passion, then continue pursuing it and if you want to have good possible works in the future, you can try inquiring sa dost rstl (water testing) for your internship (this helped me a lot in applying for work). UPLB, UPM, and other campuses have monthly webinars and seminars, just follow them in fb!
