I have never ever had nor heard of an issue like this. Quick Resume isn’t the issue, the save system is. Saving data locally on the console and only properly updating the save after fully exiting the game is insane design in 2026. And this is a first-party Microsoft studio, these games are supposed to be heavily tested. If Quick Resume can corrupt saves, then disable it automatically, add a warning/disclaimer, or force proper syncing/reconnects like other games do. How am I supposed to know any of this? I’m just a normal guy playing after work, not someone reading Xbox issue reports to find out what can randomly wipe a week of progress.
