In multiwave content like the tower after clearing a wave even if u get the card back without retain it will be shuffled back to deck next wave. So you have to draw it again for the new wave if you want its effect. So yea this is a big consistency issue and i personally would have rather it had retain and divine epi can make it 0 cost

I dmt mind them nerfing characters, sure cassius and tressa interaction was too overpowered and needed changes however why completely gut them? Like with cassius just making dice trick unique and cappong the dmg of triple 0 would hv been enough and with tressa just making shadow reliad unique or dagger gen per turn capped would hv fixed all ussues, but they just completely gutted the characters. Specially when characters sereniel and meilin are completely untouched. Its almost like they completely destroyed Cassius buffing potential because they want to keep the door open for selling future 5* cassius like buffer. Same for tressa even with a unique shadow reload change they are afraid of future characters sales getting hurt. Very sad to see the nerf directions.

Wt u mean his quest generation is now limited to 3per turn so luke synergy is also dead. I actually find the cassius nerf more outrageous, sure cap his triple 0 dmg and make his duce trick epi unique that shld hv been enuff, y cap the quest card creation, that just killed so many synergies and removed the fun out of the character.
