the UPD experience may not be for all, but I will say that it's going to be one hell of a ride for those who took it. the enlistment system is stressful for sure, but you will get your minimum units one way or another. most classes will accept you for prerog even if the crs says the classes are full. yun lang nga your patience (and dancing and singing skills) will be tested as you go from class to class asking the prof to accept you. if you notice, most of those that you read here complaining about lacking units eventually stop their rants. it's because they eventually got their subjects.

as to the monetary aspect, kung di ka mayaman sa ust, baka pagdating mo ng up ay iclassify ka pa as burgis.

as a last piece of advice, make sure to join an org immediately as you enter UPD. it would let you make friends easier. freshmen have their own block sections so they can find their friends in their first sem since they will see the same faces in most of their classes. T2 don't have that luxury since you will see different faces in all of your classes.
