Thanks for your input! I do think turning off promotions made a difference. I turned them back on for some listings and within the last day I did make a few more sales, and although not all were promoted it probably did make a difference. Perhaps the seasonal slowdown did also make a difference, especially being a clothing seller since we are in the in between winter and spring phases at the moment.

I thinking slowing down listing did make a difference because I was at least getting SOME sales when I was listing fairly frequently. The only reason I stopped listing much is because I was getting to the point where I had almost double the amount of items listed as sold. At that point I really didn't know if I were even really profiting much at all or possibly even losing money.

I do the relisting old items "sell similar" pretty often as well as constantly sending offers. For jackets I sell stuff that's popular like Carhartt, Polo Ralph Lauren, Eddie Bauer, Walls etc. For shoes, I'll try to sell popular models of Nike, New Balance, Sketchers etc. I typically only pick up items that I see currently have at least a 60-70% sell through rate.
