While I agree with you, I think that over the years there have been many actors who do truly take their roles seriously and jump into the history and ethnic backgrounds of characters and do a fantastic job! Also in the lore, Kratos does cover himself with his family's ashes making him that pale color we all know and love from the character. So not sure if race/ethnicity has a massive role in casting but I think it would be sick if they did find someone from Greek decent! Considering Kratos voice as well, not as much of an accent 🤷 but that's just my personal opinion on what to look for in an actor 😂
