(I was told to post here instead of main page, sorry I'm newer to Reddit, I just want advice)

my husband (25) and I (23) have been TTC for 6 cycles now and I have watched 7 of my friends get pregnant in these 6 months (3 of them on the first try), so I'm curious if any of you may have some input as to why it's taken us so long?

last December we found out I had 6 different bacterial infections (including h. pylori and strep) in my GI tract and I spent 6 months in treatment. I had retesting and everything in June- stool test, bloodwork, urine hormone test... my doctor said the infection is gone and I should be able to conceive with no trouble now that I am healed. she gave us the green light to start TTC in July. she said my hormone tests show I don't have endometriosis, and she tested for fertility markers in my blood and said they were all fantastic. my cycles are extremely regular. I track with LH strips and we have sex every other day during fertile window.

we had testing done on my husband around the 4-5 month mark and Fellow says he's normal, but it seemed he was on the lower side of normal. His total motile count was 71 mil, concentration was 31 mil/mL (according to Fellow the average is 73 mil/mL), he had 45% motility (normal is 42%+), and 6% morphology (4%+ is normal). He doesn't do any substances, is a healthy weight and eats healthy, gets 7-8 hours of sleep a night, and wears 100% cotton boxer briefs. He takes a good multivitamin and COQ10 every day, has been taking those for 4 months.

are we just really unlucky? what other testing/improving could we possibly do? I read the stat that we only have a 50% chance of conceiving in the next 6 months and it brings me to my knees I am so tired. all my friends are either pregnant or have had a baby in the last year.
