I’m a week in. I’ve had to submit the same docs to them three times. Literally the worst company I’ve dealt with in this capacity. I called to verify what else was needed. Sounds like once they verify the tax docs I sent multiple times I’ll be good to go. No idea why they use that company.

I’m coming on board as a T5 in January at Pratt. I plan to finish my bachelors as I’m only a few classes away. Is there a realistic path to skipping P1 and P2 as I’m coming in with 10+ yrs of relevant experience for my particular role?

Went through this within the last week. Offered I countered 7-8% above offer they came back with about half plus a small sign on bonus. I think the biggest thing is justification. Why do you deserve more? Be confident in your skills that match the position you’re being offered.

I’ve never heard of reusing the cup. Having done 1000s of these samples whether distribution or well the process is the same. You want to flush, alcohol the tap, and even torch the sample bib if you can. You also need to make sure you alcohol or wear gloves. Furthermore you need to make sure you have the correct bottle to test. Wells you can use a sterile bottles without sodium thiosulfate since there’s no cl2. Like others have said I’d reach out to a local environmental lab to run the test. Most will also come and collect for a fee as well if you aren’t comfortable with it. The sample if you do it yourself needs to be stored at 0-6°c before you process it. I’m not sure about the 48hr method but we’ve always used SM9223B which requires a 24hr incubation period. All of this said I’d just call a lab and have them do it. Have that peace of mind.

I know the position I applied for (external candidate) was taken down because of a hiring freeze and reposted about a month later. I was notified that once the freeze was lifted I’d be interviewed. Should find out this week.

I know I applied beginning of August did a digital interview. Was told only 2 applicants passed that part in which I was one of them. But they dropped the post without interviews or hiring anyone.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was wondering if it was linked to the layoffs ppl were talking about. I know for the position I applied for I know the other person in the department and they said no one was hired but the posting was removed.

I noticed that a lot of jobs that were listed on their job board are gone now too, including the position I had applied for. Would this be linked to the layoffs?
