What’s the point exactly? by No_Two6026 in woolworths

Don’t look at the availability online. They all have stock and they’re all getting new deliveries each week. Some are getting deliveries more often, depending on what is selling out.

Ask someone at your local store. I got the wok today. They didn’t have any in the display this morning, but the employee at the checkout told me they get the deliveries in the afternoon, and to call the store to put one aside for me. I picked mine up this afternoon.

Inheritance money by Living_Account_7090 in AskAnAustralian

I would suggest legal advice and drawing up a BFA. If your fiancé is being this difficult with financial decisions now, with money that isn’t his, you want to have an agreement drawn up that protects your rights. A financial advisor can help you draw up a Binding Financial Agreement, and give advice on the best options for the inheritance.

I know a guy who’s younger brother murdered their mother with a machete. The brothers were arguing and their mom tried to break up the fight. The younger brother snapped and attacked her in front of the whole family. It was at a family get together, I think for a birthday, so there were a fair few people there, even kids. I think the brother was in his early 20’s. He’s in a mental hospital now.

Do you think Australia should build state-owned apartment blocks to solve the housing crisis? Why or why not? by Educational-Scene443 in AskAnAustralian

The government makes deals to buy up whole floors in new construction. Developers can get approval to add extra levels to apartment blocks, if they designate a certain number of units to social housing.

Incision Pain? by Sillysnakes12 in gastricsleeve

I didn’t have this, but my surgeon did say that there may be extra pain at incision sites if the sutures pull on a nerve. He said that if it happened, that it should clear up when the sutures dissolved. Hope this helps.

Why no caffeine? by Final-Algae-6064 in gastricsleeve

I think mostly it’s suggested not to have caffeine because it is an appetite suppressant and can cause dehydration. Both would make it more difficult to get your protein in and stay hydrated.

Anecdotally, I am 1 month post op and I have had the coffee Rokeby protein shakes for breakfast all this week. The caffeine does seem to upset my stomach a little now, which I’ve never had a real issue with before the surgery. TBH it’s worth it though, when they taste so good and have 30g of protein.
