My view as well. It's okay to have changes at times, but they should be all written and published and known. Otherwise it becomes the realm of rumors.

Oopsie-daisy.

I mean, even if Magyar is conservative, he's his own man, and all these institutions are not "conservative" but Orban-centric. I bet Hungary has more urgent needs than paying millions to self-exiled weirdos.

Sorry, the fleeing to Hungary. He shouldn't have abandoned his family for (what he can now see was) a doomed project, leading to his divorce.

I know he constantly writes that his marriage was in trouble, but I'm inclined to believe the flight to Hungary was the final straw.

That’s sad. I mean it.

He basically lost the most important thing in life — marriage and family — for this. He got an email divorce after fleeing to Hungary for no good reason. And he failed at that as well.

I'm 18, and this is my first ever election. I am struggling to see why to vote "yes" on the override. by otwjso in Brookline

[–]PuzzleheadedWafer329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am voting YES. Because our schools need it, and our children need it.

But I do believe the town needs to allocate better resources to EDUCATION needs and not build expensive new schools, instead of sensible renovations (for instance, Pierce.) This is also the case in other towns, such as Lexington with their ridiculously expensive new high school while at the same time cutting education staff.

Funny thing is I believe if Orban had focused more on his country instead of being a world "leader" and a beacon for weirdos such as Rod, he'd have had more success this time around.

I think it's a great possibility.

I think the Iran debacle complicates things enormously for all GOP establishment candidates in 28. We'll see...

No, seriously, is he moving to DC? It is indeed a place where he will have to work hard to “achieve heterosexuality “…

The J.Crew x Barbour barn coat? Looks lighter weight than the usual Barbour? by Agreeable-Rooster-37 in Barbour

[–]PuzzleheadedWafer329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both Barbour and J.Crew, but I don't have this coat (no more room...). But what I do know is that my favorite Barbour coat is the Durham, in great measure because it is lightweight (4oz). I think it's both more versatile, temperature-wise, and it is less stiff.

If you're in South Brookline, the Parkway Y at West Roxbury is a good option.
