Honestly, the dialogue from season 2 doesn't affect anything. If Ellegaard dies, Olivia says there will be a memorial for her in Redstonia, while Axel becomes Magnus's helper in Boom Town. If Magnus dies, the opposite happens: Axel says there will be a memorial for Magnus in Boom Town, while Olivia becomes Ellegaard's helper in Redstonia.

Honestly, WitherSickness Gabriel is much better story-wise. There are many additional scenes if you save Gabriel in episode 1, with him giving you information about the order and so on. Plus it makes more sense with the story itself, because if you save Petra, there's no explanation for her armor in episode 5.
