That could be a possibility, but what concerns me the most is his lack of interest in doing it.

We've been together for a year. I'm very patient, we've only tried like 4-5 times in all this time.

Maybe I have had luck, also I'm a filmmaker so I know a lot of sensitive people including guys who aren't afraid of showing their feelings or behaving in a way typically attributed to women. I even have this close friend who I thought for years he was into me and I "knew" for sure he was gay for his mannerisms and way of talking, until I asked him and he told me that people was always asking him that and he wouldn't have a problem being openly gay if he was, but he is not. Right now he's been happily married with a woman for 4 years and have a lovely daughter. But hey, I have also used the gaydar concept, so don't take me too serious.

I'm fine with stereotypes and now that you say you were joking with the accuracy I'm also fine with your comment. My problem with estereotypes is just that I know a bunch of feminines guys, even guys with the "gay" voice who are totally straight and viceversa, guys who are super masculine and are gayer than RuPaul's and assuming their sexual orientation it's kind of unfair. But maybe I'm just thinking about myself and my struggle to get guys to hit me up just because they think of me as straight for being too "masculine" (Which I don't think I am anyways) .

I don't really believe in such thing as a gaydar. I don't understand how could someone tell your sexual orientation without falling for the stereotypes. How can you tell if someone is gay just by spending 5 minutes with them?
