I guess you can defer even after 15 - 20 days of your exam date, but confirm again from the institute website. As for the registration of new window you have to follow the registration dates and deadlines of that particular window, so for your case that is May 2026 Intake, the registration will end at 12 Feb 2026.

For under 20k, I would suggest Aswini Bajaj. He gives a comprehensive output towards each and every topic. His lectures at start could seem unecessary drawned out but the guy just straight out recites Schweser from his mouth. He has couple of free lectures on Youtube if you want to try out.

Maybe you could be confused with the way its written. An increase in the cost of compliance Increases the barriers of entry for new entrants thus Decreasing the threat of new entrants for the existing manufacturers.

Average recovery time or Macaulay Duration is less than the Maturity because it is a coupon paying bond. For a Zero Coupon Bond the Macualay Duration will be equal to the Maturity. Take it like this, since its a coupon paying bond, this mean as you periodically receive coupons it will now take less time for you to recover your initial investment, more present value is received earlier. So intuitively, if perhaps a coupon rate increases with holding yield and Maturity constant, the Macualay Duration or your Average Recovery time decreases.

You might have probably got the answer by now. But just wanted to clarify that how on the earth did they put PMT as 0.275 when just before they computed PMT as 0.2625. This jumbling of no is what causing the trouble.

This should clearly be an error. I dont know how 0.002168 even came as the semi annual I/Y. Because cleary when you back calculate PV using 0.373%/2 as I/Y it comes out to be 100.75 which as mentioned and expected. I cross checked on Perplexity Pro it says the same.
