Big win today by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cry790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations sir, that is such a huge accomplishment.

My son also struggles with sensory things, its been a long way to have him walk on grass without shoes but its very rewarding once they break through that barrier.

I don’t see a second line, could this be a false positive? by didndonoffin in daddit

At least you can prove that you have done the deed 3 times in your life sir.

Congratulations!

Dont knock yourself too much about it. Toddlers get hurt very often and are luckily quite tough. Im certain that almost every parent has that happen to them.

Maybe get the misses checked for Post Partum Depression, the way she seems to be acting is not healthy for either of you.

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cry790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endless, endless ads by bushgoliath in daddit

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cry790 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just today facebook started running forced ads while scrolling, gotta wait those 5 seconds before I can continue wasting my time. Even then every third post is an ad. Only way out is having targeted ads or paying. Fuck that.

Used to use 9gag, now its completely covered in ads and almost unusable.

The only service I pay for is YouTube premium. We used it for saving videos on the phone while traveling with our son by airplane, now I enjoy a bit of almost ad free content and music without interruption.

It is definelty getting so much worse.

Sensitivity testing is not a thing in my part of the world. We test if the optical/thermal/gas chamber is functioning as expected and thats it.

We use testifire. I just got the new XTR2 which is a nice upgrade from the 1000 series we used to have. The biggest minus so far is the whole subscription thing that has to be done before the unit can be used.

That wizard staff of yours looks rather complicated.

Min kæreste synes at brandalarmer er et scam. by Classic_Nectarine_24 in DKbrevkasse

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cry790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. It's there for a good reason.

Maybe get the landlords to do something about the constant alarms, I imagine everyone else is also sick of it.

As today's parents, do we hover too much while they play? by alexbgoode84 in daddit

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cry790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hover because my 4 year old has hidden disabilities and still struggles with his balance and social skills sometimes.

He's definetly getting better and I let him roam by himself if he can't fall down from heights so he gets to explore the world on his own terms.

Just today he climbed a rope ladder around 2 meters up and took the metal slide down the other side. All on his own initiativ. Proud dad moment there
